Our practice is proud of its state-of-the-art, 5000-square-foot sports medicine facility, designed to provide the highest quality therapeutic services. We prioritize a collaborative team culture, consisting of experienced physical therapists and a certified physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring that every patient receives attentive and individualized care. We mainly cater to patients with private medical insurance, allowing for focused and comprehensive treatment approaches. Work Environment This position is based on-site at our outpatient office in the vibrant community of Red Bank, NJ. The facility boasts modern equipment, a welcoming atmosphere, and a supportive team dedicated to continual learning and professional growth. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify goals and design personalized treatment plans. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality interactions. Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and manual therapy techniques to facilitate patient recovery. Implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, encouraging proactive participation in their own healing. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care. Provide education and resources to motivate patients towards healthier lifestyle choices related to strength, flexibility, and mobility. Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed to achieve the most effective results. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice predominantly serves individuals dealing with orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues. As a Physical Therapist at Open Play, you will play a crucial role in helping these patients navigate their rehabilitation journey, whether recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or improving overall physical function through preventative care. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. A valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. Evidence of an unblemished professional record, free from any disciplinary actions or board violations. Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and proven ability to develop and execute exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs. Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred for efficient documentation and patient tracking. Preferred Experience While a minimum of 2 years in orthopedic outpatient settings is required, candidates with specific expertise in utilizing cutting-edge therapeutic practices or those who have managed specialized caseloads will be favored. Proficiency in developing wellness programs that enhance patients' quality of life is also highly valuable. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 120,000
to 140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
