Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from physical impairments or disabilities, ensuring a thorough understanding of their individual needs and goals. Conduct hands-on therapy and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises designed to improve patients' mobility and overall functionality. Deliver care primarily to adult patients aged 40-65, employing techniques that foster rehabilitation and maintain engagement throughout the treatment process. Educate patients about treatments, progress, and self-care techniques, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge required for their recovery journey. Document all patient interactions and progress in our CureMD EMR system, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Collaborate closely with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners, to optimize treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Your expertise will primarily benefit adult patients aged between 40 to 65 years, who often come to our facility with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this age group—including the effects of aging and chronic conditions—will be crucial as you design and implement effective treatment strategies. Your role will directly influence their rehabilitation success and enhancements in their quality of life. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution required. Must possess or be eligible for a valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their families. Proficient clinical skills, capable of utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities for optimal patient care.
