This flexible, PRN position is ideal for experienced PTs seeking opportunities to make a difference in students' lives within a supportive school setting. You'll have the chance to partner with various stakeholders and help students achieve their goals, all while enjoying an adaptable schedule.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey Prior experience working in schools and understanding of PT's role in an educational context Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to tailor services accordingly Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct individualized physical therapy sessions with a designated student twice each month, 30 minutes per session Evaluate the student's physical needs related to educational outcomes and develop appropriate goals Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support the student's participation in school activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in relevant meetings and communicate progress or needs to the educational team as needed Enjoy the flexibility this PRN opportunity offers and the fulfillment that comes from providing individualized care in a school setting.
