Job Description
Position Overview Queen Tower Recovery Center is seeking a committed full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role is essential for supporting our patients on their journey to regain mobility and function. You will engage in a range of responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, all geared towards enhancing the quality of life and movement potential for each individual. About the Organization Queen Tower Recovery Center is an orthopedic outpatient private physical therapy practice known for its commitment to providing exceptional care. Our 5,000 square feet state-of-the-art sports medicine facility is strategically located in Woodbridge, enabling us to serve a diverse patient population primarily with private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care. Work Environment This is an onsite position at our fully equipped outpatient office, catering to a busy clinic schedule. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The environment fosters collaboration and consistent communication among staff, creating an atmosphere where innovative treatment methods are embraced and shared. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluation of patients' conditions to develop tailored treatment plans. Efficiently manage a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure effective treatment delivery. Administer a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques and therapy interventions aimed at improving patients' mobility and functional abilities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall patient care by sharing insights and successful methodologies. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment programs and provide encouragement to reach their rehabilitation goals. Regularly assess the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make necessary adjustments to maximize patient recovery. Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients by incorporating strength and flexibility training into their care plans. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice primarily serves an orthopedic patient population, focusing on individuals who require physical therapy due to musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. These patients often come to us seeking non-surgical interventions to improve their quality of life, regain mobility, and enhance their physical capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, offering personalized treatment plans to meet their unique needs. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. State licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey. Proof of a clean record, with no board actions or disciplinary measures related to licensure. Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques. Competence in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens for a variety of conditions. Familiarity with EMR software systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient management. Preferred Experience Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired. Ability to deliver cost-effective treatment options that minimize the need for medications or invasive procedures. Strong background in tailoring fitness and wellness programs for patients with diverse needs and conditions.
