Work Environment This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Avenel, NJ. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and therapies designed to aid patient recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs and functional limitations. Provide clinical consultation to other healthcare providers regarding ongoing patient care and treatment options. Utilize evidence-based practices to implement and adjust treatment strategies while ensuring adherence to established protocols and regulations. Monitor patient progress by evaluating results and modifying treatment plans as necessary, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional documentation standards. Maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary treatment teams, referral sources, and physicians to ensure coordinated care. Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives, contributing to program development and continuous improvement within the department. Supervise and mentor assigned support staff and students, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment. Document all treatments, operations, and patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Engage in continuing education, attending in-services and training programs to enhance professional skills and competencies. Patient Population / Client Focus You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Your role will be essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through tailored interventions, education, and encouragement. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Current state licensure for Physical Therapy in New Jersey is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration. Proficiency in computer systems and documentation practices relevant to patient care. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with advanced training or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy or pediatric therapy, will be viewed favorably. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is also preferred. Compensation and Benefits We value our employees and offer a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
