Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments to create individualized treatment plans. Effectively explain evaluation outcomes and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in goal setting and decision-making processes. Implement treatment protocols that align with patients' specific needs and conditions, adapting strategies based on patient presentations and the evolving healthcare environment. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, addressing various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be pivotal in improving patients' functional capabilities and overall quality of life through personalized therapy plans that foster recovery and restore independence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is essential. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required. An eagerness to learn and grow professionally; prior experience is not a necessity. Preferred Experience Exposure to outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly in orthopedic physical therapy, can be beneficial. Experience with patient management systems and electronic health records (EHR) is an advantage.
