Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students across K-12 as a dedicated Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. This full-time opportunity allows you to work itinerantly, providing essential physical therapy services across multiple educational sites near Clovis, NM. Every day you'll play a pivotal part in helping young learners excel physically, boost their independence, and access their education effectively. Ideal candidates bring a passion for working with children and adaptability to thrive across various school settings. The role accommodates both Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), offering a chance to impact a diverse student population.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant School-based experience or a strong interest in working in educational settings Comfort working with K-12 students of varied backgrounds and abilities Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to travel between sites as part of an itinerant team
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored to students' individual needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments (PTs) Manage cases and collaborate in the development and execution of IEPs (PTs) Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure holistic support Document sessions and monitor student progress
