Job Description

Part-Time School-Based Physical Therapist (PT, DPT) Make an Impact with PDS in a School Setting Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based placement. Qualifications:
Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current state license as Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain). PDS provides guidance for licensure across states. Experience or interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred Strong collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to student-first therapy and working within educational frameworks
Your Impact:
As a School-Based PT with PDS, you will: Deliver high-quality services to students, assessing and addressing gross motor skills, mobility, posture/positioning, functional movement, and adaptive physical education where applicable. Conduct evaluations, write reports, monitor progress and participate in IEP/504 plan development. Collaborate with teachers, OTs, SLPs, administrators and families to meaningfully embed PT recommendations into the school day and routines. Consult with classroom and special education staff to adapt environments and tasks, promoting student access, independence and participation in school-based activities.
