Day Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Physical Therapist is responsible for provision of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive physical therapy care to Wellness Center and hospital based patients. Utilizes appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation processes with patients. Develops accurate and effective care plans and measurable goals. Continually assesses the effectiveness of the therapy plan of care. Supervises the care provided by physical therapy assistants. Duties are of great difficulty and are based on principles and standards of physical therapy practice. The Physical Therapist is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.Job Requirements:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Physical Therapy required.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years' physical therapy experience preferred. Required Licensure/Certification(s):
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New Mexico required.
- Current verification in Basic Life Support required (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
