Desired Qualifications:

Active NM state license (NMRLD) required by contract start; NMPED can be in pending status Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team Compassionate, communicative, and student-centered approach Eagerness to adapt and collaborate with fellow professionals

Key Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy evaluations and services to students as outlined in IEPs Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress Work closely with teachers, families, and other therapists to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and assist with interdisciplinary planning Adapt treatment modalities to suit a diverse student population
