What Were Looking For:

Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Mexico Experience working in school-based or pediatric PT roles is highly desired Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with faculty, students, and families Ability to plan and deliver both individualized (1:1) and group physical therapy sessions Preference for in-person therapy, ensuring a hands-on, interactive approach to care Organized, flexible, and committed to best practices in patient-centered therapies

Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to students in a school setting Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students mobility and participation in daily activities Document services, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school policies and professional standards Support students in achieving educational goals by addressing gross motor, mobility, balance, and coordination needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Experience the fulfillment of empowering students while being part of a collaborative environment in a school located near Peralta, NM.
