Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Physical Therapy required Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in pediatrics, preferably within a school environment Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic educational setting Open to candidates seeking travel assignments

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment strategies for students with diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and special education staff to support students educational goals Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings Provide direct therapy services within classrooms and therapy spaces, integrating creative approaches Educate families and school personnel on best practices to support students physical development and integration Remain current on best practices in pediatric physical therapy and maintain continuing education as needed
