Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Put your expertise as a Physical Therapist to use in a dynamic educational setting supporting students near Rio Rancho, NM. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide vital care and make a significant difference in young lives, while working with a small caseload and a manageable weekly schedule of approximately 5 hours.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist license Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Understanding of IEP processes and requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to engage with students, staff, and families professionally and compassionately
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a comprehensive PT evaluation for one student, determining needs and making recommendations for support Deliver ongoing PT services for two students, providing a total of 60 minutes of therapy per week Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate proactively with educators, counselors, and families to support each student's growth and participation in the school environment Adhere to ethical and legal standards for PT in school settings This role is ideal for a flexible professional seeking a part-time commitment with meaningful impact.
