1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of outpatient experience for a day-shift assignment. Details Outpatient PT setting Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Requirements NM license required before start (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting Must maintain licensure in good standing for the state of employment Additional Information Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients per physician referral or direct access Supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians according to established plans of care Develop competency in modalities, exercise equipment, and specialized testing such as WorkSTEPS, APET, Work Hardening Evaluations, and Functional Capacity Evaluations Perform ergonomic evaluations and job analyses as needed Communicate regularly with rehab nurses and referring physicians regarding patient progress Assist with scheduling, referrals, and understanding billing codes for various payer types Participate in marketing and community outreach efforts as patient load allows Open to first-time travelers
