Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our pediatric in-home Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) program. This is a salaried .5 FTE position (contract will be considered on a case by case basis). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating physical and motor development challenges in young children. This role involves working collaboratively with a team of professionals to support the developmental needs of children and enhance their physical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify physical and motor development challenges in young children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Provide therapy to improve children's gross and fine motor skills, balance, and coordination using a parent coaching model. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide comprehensive care. Educate families about physical development challenges and effective treatment strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience working with young children in an early intervention setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continued employment.
