ADDITIONAL PAY FOR PER DIEM, SEE DESCRIPTION
We are in need of a part-time Physical Therapist to start in early-mid September. Evening and weekend hours needed, with potential to increase to full time hours in November. Compensation is based on experience with licensed new grads starting at $35/hour. East Aurora Family Physical therapy is a low stress professional environment where you will enjoy working along with and learning from our experienced staff. Our Mission as a facility is to work directly with our patients one on one, giving each patient the time and attention they deserve. Therapists are not asked to oversee and take responsibility for a gym full of patients that they are not personally involved with. We strive to have each patient assigned to their own therapist where the therapist has control and input from initial evaluation to discharge. Will accept new graduates with provisional license
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in orthopedic settings is preferred
  • Proficient in providing patient care and implementing treatment plans
  • Ability to hands on therapy and other specialized techniques
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
