Desired Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience providing physical therapy within a school setting or with pediatric populations Strong understanding of IEPs and IDEA compliance Ability to design and implement individualized and group treatment plans Clear communication and documentation skills Compassionate approach and adaptability in fast-paced school environments

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students to determine physical therapy needs within the school setting Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing students mobility and access to the curriculum Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy into the school day Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports Provide education and support to school staff about best practices for student mobility and safety Maintain accurate, timely records of evaluations, treatments, and progress Enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your interventions help students gain independence and confidence.
