What You'll Do:
As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide exceptional care to patients in an outpatient setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Administering various therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (such as ultrasound, heat/ice therapy, and electrical stimulation), and patient education. Educating patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their rehabilitation goals. Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards. Providing excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
Licensure:
Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire.
Education:
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and team members. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Patient Care:
Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for a wide range of patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving patients during treatment sessions. Why Wait?
