Position Overview Inner Sage Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to enhance our outpatient rehabilitation team. Our clinic is committed to maintaining a steady patient flow of around 6-7 patients per day, allowing our therapists ample time to provide personalized care without the pressures of high caseloads. Key Responsibilities As an integral member of our therapy team, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough patient evaluations to assess physical functioning and develop effective, individualized treatment plans. Utilizing evidence-based manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise programs, and functional training methods to promote recovery. Providing thorough patient education on rehabilitation strategies, including techniques for injury prevention and home exercise programs. Tracking patient progress and modifying treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback. Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Documenting patient interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our clinic emphasizes a holistic approach, ensuring that each patient's physical therapy is tailored to their specific circumstances, recovery goals, and long-term health objectives. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York. A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and principles. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
