Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to maximize recovery outcomes. Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and adaptive strategies to support ongoing improvement at home. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other therapists to ensure holistic patient care. Adhere strictly to safety protocols such as basic life support (BLS), CPR, manual handling procedures, and infection control standards during all patient interactions. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA or Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology and anatomy essential for effective assessment and treatment planning. Experience working in acute care settings or with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments is highly preferred. Strong understanding of manual handling techniques to ensure patient safety during therapy activities. Ability to lift heavy objects safely when necessary for patient transfers or equipment handling. Basic life support (BLS) certification and CPR training are required prior to start.
