Join Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and become part of one of the world's most respected healthcare organizations. We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. This position blends clinical expertise with meaningful patient connection, as therapists work closely with individuals navigating pain and recovery. Success in this role requires strong collaboration within the care team, effective time management, and excellent interpersonal communication. Empathy and a service-oriented mindset are essential, as therapists motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient condition. Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient. Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other support personnel. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's Degree or certificate Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Experience in a clinical area Prior neuro experience Open to new grads
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and climb stairs without assistive device and to maintain balance despite sudden load in order to support patient from falling. Ability to meet physical demands characterized at the heavy level defined by 1993 Leonard Matheson and Ministry of Labor. Ability to lift and reach with arms sufficiently to lift patient's arm and leg during therapeutic treatment program. Sensation of touch and manual dexterity to be able to palpate muscle tension or to monitor patient pulse. Visual acuity to observe patient's gross and fine motor movements in order to analyze these movements and to read all patient monitors. Ability to speak clearly enough to instruct patients and families. Ability to hear at a conversational level to understand patient's description of symptoms and response to treatment.

Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary:
$69,600.00
Maximum Annual Salary:
$106,132.50 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
