Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a Physical Therapist supporting students from PreK through 5th grade during a maternity leave coverage. This rewarding contract opportunity offers a start date as soon as possible, running through January 15, 2027. Spend three days a week, totaling 23 hours, serving a manageable caseload of 35 students in an easy-to-navigate district—travel is minimal across the three buildings, all within a compact five-square-mile area.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy Experience in a school setting is highly preferred Proven ability to work with children in PreK through 5th grade Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with special education documentation, such as progress notes and IEP updates Adaptable and collaborative attitude to support students, families, and educators
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to students, tailored to support their unique needs Complete progress reports, document therapy sessions, and maintain accurate student records Update IEP goals and contribute to evaluation team reports as necessary Serve as an active participant in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff This flexible, part-time schedule enables you to balance meaningful clinical work with other commitments while making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
