Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an enriching opportunity supporting students across PreK through 5th grade as a Physical Therapist, stepping in for a maternity leave coverage in a welcoming educational environment. With a compact service area of only five square miles, travel between the three assigned buildings is quick and manageable, allowing you to focus on making a genuine impact. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through January 15, 2027. You'll enjoy a balanced schedule, working 23 hours across three days each week, giving you the flexibility to maintain work-life balance while serving a caseload of 35 students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in the state or eligibility to obtain Experience providing PT services in school-based settings preferred Strong understanding of early childhood through elementary development Comfortable with mild daily travel between nearby buildings Skilled in managing multiple IEPs, progress notes, and team communications Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students from PreK to grade 5 Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans according to IEPs Frequently monitor and document student progress Update IEP goals and Evaluation Team Reports as needed Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment Perks of the
