This contract-based physical therapy opportunity allows you to work closely with young learners, educators, and families, helping students achieve their physical goals and reach their full potential. Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state or eligibility to obtain one Prior experience in pediatric, school-based, or related settings preferred Understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop treatment plans for students Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students physical and functional abilities within the school environment Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy interventions Participate in IEP meetings, providing input regarding student progress and recommendations Collaborate with educators and other professionals to adapt classroom activities and support student participation Educate teachers and caregivers on safe mobility, positioning, and strategies for inclusion Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning culture Enjoy the flexibility of a contract role that allows you to focus on what you do besthelping students achieve meaningful outcomes.
