This contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact in children's daily lives, fostering their academic and physical development through specialized therapy and support. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of educators and related service professionals to provide individualized and group therapy to students across a diverse caseload. This position is full-time, with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The contract begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, and also includes a unique maternity leave assignment from October through the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications:
Holds an active Ohio Physical Therapist license Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based settings Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services and interventions to K-12 students Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and progress Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development Adapt therapy strategies based on student and teacher feedback Enjoy a highly competitive compensation rate of $50 per hour, with weekly pay for added convenience.
