Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Hilliard, OH area! A passionate Physical Therapist is needed to cover maternity leave, working with a diverse PreK-5th grade population. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making a positive difference, collaborating across teams, and helping young learners thrive. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 23 hours per week over three days, with minimal travel across three closely situated buildings within a tight-knit community. Your expertise will provide essential therapy services and hands-on support to a manageable caseload of 35 students. You'll have the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, tailoring interventions and updating documentation that directly impacts student progress.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Ohio School-based PT or pediatric experience preferred Strong understanding of IEP goals, documentation, and evaluation team reports Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a balanced caseload and prioritize tasks independently
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct PT services to PreK-5th grade students Complete timely and accurate progress reports Update and track IEP goals and evaluation team reports as needed Travel between three buildings (minimal distance within a 5-square-mile district) Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and related service providers Utilize evidence-based practices to support student access and participation This is more than a contract—it's a chance to spark meaningful growth for students in their formative years while maintaining work-life balance with a predictable, part-time schedule.
