Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Ohio Physical Therapist license Previous school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation requirements Flexibility to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students physical therapy needs Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to each childs goals and IEP objectives Provide direct physical therapy services to students both individually and in small groups Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines Monitor, track, and document progress while adjusting interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or environmental modifications
