Local Traveler:
The Physical Therapist in this position will support local facilities within a 30-mile radius of their home and will know their assigned facility at least 24-48 hours in advance . Scheduling is organized and provides consistency, with adherence to the therapist's preferred schedule.

General Summary:
In this role, you will provide physical therapy services to patients with physical dysfunction, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. You will participate in patient care conferences, screenings, and program development; supervise PTAs and aides as assigned; complete required documentation; and adhere to company policies, procedures, and current clinical practice standards.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct physical therapy screenings and evaluations to determine patient physical status and develop, implement, and assess treatment plans using strengthening, modalities, and retraining to maximize independence. Provide direct patient care in accordance with productivity standards and the professional and ethical standards of the APTA, using graded activities to restore physical and functional abilities. Check, instruct, assign, and review the work of PTAs and aides as assigned. Maintain accurate documentation to support medical record quality, continuity of care, and reimbursement guidelines. Participate in patient care conferences, CQI activities, and new program development as requested or required to support continuous quality care. Promote current clinical practice standards through continuing education and in-service programs, including coordinating and/or participating in programs for internal and external groups. Participate in company meetings and additional activities as directed to facilitate effective departmental operations. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and current standards of clinical practice while maintaining a continuous focus on quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program Licensure as required by the
State of Ohio Valid Driver's License Skills and Abilities:
Ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative when analyzing problems and recommending solutions Initiative and flexibility in the work environment Ability to react effectively to the needs of patients and their families Physical ability to bend, position, transfer, and lift patients weighing 80 pounds to over 300 pounds without restriction, utilizing clinically recommended lifting devices
