Outpatient Physical Therapist- $7,500 Sign-On Bonus Hot Job Bethany Children's Health Center - Bethany, OK 73008 Apply Overview Job Shift Direct Patient Care Apply Description The Physical Therapist evaluate and establish goals for patients to maximize function and movement, minimize physical limitations, and increase independence and participation using therapeutic techniques, equipment, and opportunities. This position instructs and educates patients and families about therapy programs and use of devices and aids. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for this position. The bonus will be paid upon completion of 90 days of employment and is subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. Recipients must commit to two years of employment . Duty Percent of Time Performs individualized treatment procedures in a professional and compassionate manner to maximize child's performance. 50% Upon provider's referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plans including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective. 15% Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team; performs timely and accurate documentation and stays up to date on the most recent occupational Therapy techniques through research and CE. 15% Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need. 10% Participate in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities. 5% Other duties as assigned. 5%
Qualifications Education:
Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy.
Experience:
Pediatric experience preferred.
License/Certification/Credential:
Physical Therapy License from the state of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary license.
