1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week hospital assignment. Details Hospital-based Physical Therapy position 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 8-hour day shifts Every other weekend availability required (typically one weekend per month) Must be available to work one holiday if needed Requirements Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab or acute care Physical Therapy experience required Degree in Physical Therapy required PT License required (license required if applicable) State licensure required with active status, no pending licenses accepted BLS certification required (AHA only) First Aid certification preferred Crisis Prevention Training (TEAM) required within 6 months of hire Primary Source Online Verification required Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive physical therapy services Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs following physician referral Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care based on evaluation findings Accurately and appropriately document patient treatment Must be able to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
