1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an acute inpatient rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of inpatient rehab and PTA experience. Details Work in the Acute Rehab unit of a 265-bed regional referral center Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Some weekend and holiday coverage required No on-call requirements Requirements Current OK state license required if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab and PTA experience required Recent traveler experience preferred Additional Information Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist Treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with medical needs and approved treatment plans Complete documentation including daily notes and discharge data Assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment Local candidates within 50 miles will be considered at a reduced rate Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until after 6 months from their former direct employment
