1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care setting, requiring 1 year of PT experience and LTC or Rehab experience. Details Long Term Care facility setting within the Physical Therapy unit Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly worked hours No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of PT experience required LTC or Rehab experience required New grads accepted if Level II clinical experience was completed (Level I observation experience does not qualify) OK state license required (license required if applicable) Compact license not accepted 1 reference required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice Administers manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive or assistive devices Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers Documents all treatment information in the electronic documentation system per regulatory and clinical requirements Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students Maintains adherence to APTA and state practice standards and codes of conduct Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested
