24. Position Summary The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to a wide variety of patients and works closely with others on the rehabilitation team and in other departments with the goal of providing patients and clients with quality, cost-effective services aimed at optimizing independent function. Also provides weekend and holiday work as assigned. Hours of work may vary according to patient care needs. Individuals may be assigned permanently, temporarily, or simultaneously to more than one worksite where specific job requirements are described. For this reason, therapists are expected to be generalists able to provide at least basic assessment to all referred patients We are looking for individuals who thrive in a positive, team-oriented work environment, and who want to practice their craft in a supportive, development-oriented workplace
  • and who are comfortable working in intensive care, general medical and surgical units.
Therapists must be flexible as to assignments and weekend rotations and may be asked to cover other worksites. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required Experience None required outside of licensure
Licensure/Certifications PT:
Physical Therapist licensed by the
Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board, or PT-CP:
Physical Therapist Compact Privilege (PTCP) required upon start. OR
  • a temporary PT license issued by the Oregon Board of Physical Therapy (PT-Temp) will be accepted for new hires awaiting permanent license.
Permanent license must be obtained within 90 days.
BLS:
