Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students in a school-based setting near Happy Valley, OR. This position offers the unique chance to help children achieve their goals in academic and life environments by providing skilled therapeutic interventions. Work just 3.5 days per week and make a significant impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your expertise will offer critical support to students with mobility, motor, and functional needs, collaborating closely with educators and families to facilitate the best possible outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for pediatric therapy while earning $50-$60 per hour. What we're looking for: Current and valid Oregon Physical Therapist license (required) Previous experience in a school-based PT or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families Capability to conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and track student progress Adaptability and resourcefulness in a dynamic school environment Commitment to upholding ethical and professional best practices Your responsibilities will include: Assessing students to identify developmental and physical needs impacting their educational participation Developing and executing individualized therapy interventions and goals Maintaining thorough, compliant records and progress notes Consulting with school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom Engaging with families to support carryover of interventions at home Experience the fulfillment of guiding students to greater independence and success.
