Local:
$2,090/35 hrs Requirements Active, valid Physical Therapy state license. Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED). Key responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to establish patient needs. Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals. Implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination. Deliver manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain. Apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated. Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs). Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, body mechanics, and injury prevention. Create and adjust pain management strategies using exercise, modalities, and manual techniques. Support patient independence post-surgery, injury, or illness to improve functional outcomes. Monitor, document, and report patient progress; revise treatment plans as needed. Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members. Maintain accurate, timely patient records and uphold confidentiality, informed consent, and legal/ethical standards. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
