1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency. Details Acute care hospital unit Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (8:00 AM-4:00 PM), with potential for four 10-hour days Caseload of more than 8 patients scheduled per day, managed by facility schedulers Weekend shifts as needed No call requirements No floating requirements Uses Epic for documentation Patient population includes cardiopulmonary, geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic conditions May involve treatment of post-stroke, COPD, CHF, MI, joint replacement, and spinal surgery patients Requirements Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required Active PA PT license or Compact PT licensure required if applicable BLS certification required Epic charting experience required Experience with assistive devices, gait training, and extremity mobilization Skilled in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and care plan documentation Knowledge of Medicare A and B billing practices Additional Information Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, reassessments, and home exercise program development Facility may care for
