Physical Therapist - School Setting in Chester, PA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Chester, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract 5 days ago Qualifications School experience Teacher collaboration Full Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a school-based Physical Therapist will make a lasting difference for students in an urban setting. This full-time, onsite position offers 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and running through June 10, 2027. You'll work with a manageable K-12 caseload, primarily serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID), allowing for meaningful client relationships and measurable progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Physical Therapist license/certification in Pennsylvania (required) Prior experience in school-based settings is mandatory Demonstrated comfort and adaptability working in urban educational environments Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Willingness to obtain necessary Pennsylvania clearances Must send over proof of licensure upon submission Comfortable conducting a Zoom interview as part of the hiring processKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality PT services onsite to a diverse K-12 population, ensuring therapy goals are aligned with IEPs Manage a small, focused caseload with low incidental classroom exposure Document and report on student progress, modifying intervention plans as needed Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to promote student success Participate in meetings, evaluations, and professional development as requiredBenefits Include:
