Job Description

You know what you could do for your patients if you had a full hour. If you've built expertise in vestibular, TMJ, pelvic floor, or another clinical specialty, Back to Better gives you the time to put it to work—with 60-minute, one-on-one PT appointments and support building your caseload. We're looking for a physical therapist with at least two years of clinical experience, completed continuing education in a specialty, and the ability to independently evaluate and treat complex cases. You'll work alongside Dr. Holly Sanders in a growing cash-pay practice where clinical judgment, patient relationships, and individualized care are central to the role. Vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ, and pelvic floor therapy are particular areas of interest. We're also open to other specialties beyond general orthopedics. What you'll bring Your clinical judgment and your ability to connect with patients matter equally. You should be comfortable explaining your findings, making a clear treatment recommendation, and helping patients understand the value of investing in their care. Previous cash-pay experience is a plus. You don't need to arrive with a polished sales process, but you must be willing to learn how to discuss treatment costs, address concerns, and help patients commit to appropriate plans of care—including through phone conversations. We'll support you as you develop those skills. What you'll do Evaluate and treat patients within your specialty, with some orthopedic care depending on your expertise. Provide individualized care during 60-minute, one-on-one PT appointments. Explain findings, treatment recommendations, and expected progress in language patients understand. Learn to incorporate StemWave treatments into your role, with training from Holly. Complete documentation, schedule patients, and collect payments. Answer patient inquiries and make patient outreach and follow-up calls. Learn to sell appropriate plans of care by clearly communicating their value and addressing cost concerns. Contribute ideas to improve practice processes, the patient experience, and business growth. We're looking for someone who takes an active interest in the practice's success—someone who notices opportunities, shares ideas, and helps make day-to-day work better for patients and the team. As you settle into the role, your contribution will extend beyond treatment sessions to helping the practice grow. What we're looking for A licensed physical therapist with a minimum of two years of clinical experience. Completed continuing education in an established specialty; no specific named specialty certification is required. The ability to independently assess and treat complex cases within that specialty. Strong patient communication, rapport, and follow-through. Willingness to learn sales skills, call patients, and contribute to practice growth. Openness to mentorship, feedback, and continued learning. What we offer $55-$65 per hour, based on experience, clinical skills, and specialty expertise. Performance-based bonus opportunities. Part-time W-2 employment with a mutually agreed schedule of approximately 15-20 hours per week. 60-minute, one-on-one PT appointments. Mentorship from Holly and training in StemWave. Support building your caseload, with opportunities to contribute to patient outreach and practice growth. You are not expected to arrive with your own patients. Potential to grow into a full-time role as the practice and your schedule develop. Apply through Indeed Submit your résumé and answer the application questions about your clinical experience, specialty training, and interest in the role.
