Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist license for the state Experience in healthcare and school-based PT (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Comfort providing care to children and adolescents Ability to complete evaluations and contribute to team consultations
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver approximately one hour of direct PT services per week to students Conduct two evaluations as needed during the assignment Participate in one team consultation meeting each month to discuss student progress and collaborate on care planning Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student mobility and participation Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to ensure a holistic approach to student care Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student progress reports
