Seeking a physical therapist to work 3 days/week with students in grades K-12.
Location:

Join us as a Physical Therapist and play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of our students by fostering their physical growth and enhancing their educational experiences. Performance Objectives Design and implement individualized physical therapy programs for students, improving physical function and facilitating achievement of educational goals. Evaluate students' physical abilities through detailed assessments and adapt strategies based on their unique needs and educational contexts. Collaborate with educators and family members to integrate physical therapy plans into student learning and daily school activities. Monitor and document students' progress, utilizing data to adjust the treatment plans effectively and in compliance with IEP goals. Conduct workshops and training sessions for school staff to enhance their understanding and support of students' physical development needs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to physical therapy in an educational setting. Essential Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania with a strong understanding of pediatric therapy. Experience in creating and implementing therapy programs in a school or related setting. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and caregivers. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to physical therapy in educational environments. An innate ability to adapt and create engaging, innovative therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs.
