Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make an impact this summer supporting students in their educational journey as a contract Physical Therapist. Work with dedicated teams across two school sites in the Lansdale and Upper Merion areas, providing your expertise during Extended School Year (ESY) programs. This short-term opportunity runs from June 29th through July 30th, Monday through Thursday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Pennsylvania Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Familiarity with the unique needs of school-aged children and special education populations Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and other therapists Strong communication skills for effective interactions with students, staff, and families Flexibility to travel between two local school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions in alignment with students' IEP goals Conduct assessments and document student progress Collaborate with education professionals to foster an inclusive learning environment Communicate regularly with caregivers and educational staff about student progress Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of each student This position offers a unique chance to contribute to student growth during a condensed summer term while enjoying afternoons free for personal pursuits.
