School-Based Physical Therapist - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting students as a skilled Physical Therapist. This contract opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 11, 2027, with possible summer extension. The primary focus will be on schools within the Newtown area, with one day allocated to the Morrisville/Pennsbury region. Enjoy a flexible schedule of 34 days per week, approximately 2128 hours, allowing for a balanced work week.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Current Physical Therapy license meeting all state requirements Minimum of one years experience working in a preschool or early childhood educational setting Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff Ability to provide therapy in-person across assigned locations Reliable transportation to Newtown, Carbon County, Lehigh County, and Morrisville/Pennsbury areas
Role Expectations:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for students in preschool and school-based settings Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy programs to support motor development and participation in educational activities Maintain accurate documentation and fulfill compliance standards for therapy services Communicate progress with teachers and family members, engaging as a resource for student success Participate in meetings, IEP development, and interdisciplinary collaboration within the school community This role is ideal for professionals seeking to immerse themselves in diverse school environments.
