In this contract role, you'll engage directly with children, helping them achieve critical milestones and empowering their participation in academic settings. This position is located at a supportive school-based site, offering consistent weekly hours for those seeking meaningful, steady engagement with students.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct physical therapy interventions tailored to each student's needs Conducting assessments of student movement, functional skills, and physical development Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans that align with educational goals Maintaining thorough documentation, progress reports, and required service logs Collaborating effectively with teachers, staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support student success
Desired Background:
Current Pennsylvania license in Physical Therapy Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred Strong organizational skills, compassion, and ability to communicate effectively within a team and with families This contract position offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives while maintaining a balanced schedule, working only on Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
