Qualifications and Experience:
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs Dedication to maintaining a supportive, inclusive environment for students
Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based physical therapy assessments and interventions for students Develop and implement individualized plans aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress Document services and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines Offer recommendations and modifications for classroom or campus accessibility Educate staff and families on strategies to promote student independence and participation
