Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, or disabilities. Through manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education, you will help individuals regain functional movement and alleviate pain. Your expertise and dedication will play a crucial role in improving the physical well-being and quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans Administer therapeutic exercise programs and provide manual therapy techniques Educate patients on exercises, self-management techniques, and injury prevention strategies Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and document outcomes Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address concerns and provide support Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (PT) Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist CPR certification Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Excellent manual therapy skills and understanding of therapeutic exercise principles Sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Empathy and compassion for patients and their families Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
