Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference this summer by providing physical therapy services to students in a supportive educational setting. This contract role is ideal for someone passionate about helping school-aged children reach their full potential through expert physical therapy interventions. The program runs from July 1 to July 30, operating Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm, at the 5/6 Grade Center. While specific caseload details are forthcoming, you can expect consistent daily sessions with a dedicated group of students.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid license to practice physical therapy in Pennsylvania Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Understanding of IEP processes and experience contributing to multidisciplinary teams Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Strong organizational skills and the ability to document student progress clearly
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to eligible students during the ESY program Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success Document interventions, progress, and communicate updates as required Ensure adherence to school policies and professional standards of practice Perks of the
