Job Description

Job Summary:
Lake Cumberland Pediatric Therapy is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and provide high-quality physical therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and families, demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and communication skills, and be committed to helping each child achieve greater independence and participation in daily activities. The Pediatric PT will evaluate and treat children from infancy through adolescence, develop individualized plans of care, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, monitor progress toward functional goals, and collaborate with caregivers and other members of the child's healthcare team.
Job Duties:
Evaluates clients and establishes appropriate treatment plans and short term and long-term goals based on the results of the evaluation. Administers treatment within the scope of license and permitted by the policies and procedures of Lake Cumberland Pediatric Therapy. Makes recommendations for and assists with written justification of medical mobility equipment and/or orthotics. Educates and trains clients, families, and guardians in home therapy program and in the use of mobility devices and/or orthotics. Communicates with family/guardians and other health care professionals to ensure consistent level of care. Evaluates and reports on patient progress per Lake Cumberland Pediatric Therapy policies and procedures. Complies with Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy licensure regulations. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants per Kentucky State Board licensure regulations. Maintains current Kentucky Physical Therapist license.

Qualifications:
Current Professional License (Required); pediatric physical therapy experience preferred but not required.
