Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding opportunity delivering Physical Therapy services to K-12 students across multiple school sites in the vibrant Bennettsville area. This full-time, onsite contract position spans the academic year from late July to late May, allowing you to make a lasting difference in diverse school communities while gaining valuable experience in pediatric and school-based therapy.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in South Carolina Background or strong interest in pediatric care, especially in school settings (K-12) Experience in education environments preferred, but all skill levels are welcome to apply Ability to commit to an onsite schedule (remote/virtual services not permitted) Excellent communication and collaboration with students, educators, and families Adaptable, reliable, and organized approach to caseload management
Role Overview:
Provide direct, in-person Physical Therapy to students from kindergarten through grade 12 Collaborate with special education and school teams to develop and implement individualized plans Support students' functional mobility, participation, and access to education with tailored interventions Complete timely and accurate therapy documentation Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning as needed Maintain strict compliance with all relevant school, district, and state regulations
