Job Description

Gravity Physical Therapy is a small locally owned business in Beaufort, SC. Our goal is to Provide a high level of evidence based care to people of the surrounding area using a 1:1 treatment model while providing our employees with competitive compensation. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing effective treatment strategies to promote recovery and enhance mobility. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical abilities and limitations. Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient assessments and goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care within hospital systems and home health settings. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Skills Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatment methodologies. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience while working with diverse populations.
