Responsibilities:
Conducting initial evaluations and assessments to determine patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans Designing and implementing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility, and function Assisting patients in performing therapeutic exercises and providing guidance and encouragement throughout the process Utilizing manual therapy techniques, such as massage and joint mobilization, to promote healing and pain relief Incorporating creative and engaging therapy techniques to make sessions enjoyable and motivating for patients Monitoring and documenting patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home exercise programs
Requirements:
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist A sparkling personality and a genuine passion for helping people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based physical therapy techniques Ability to think creatively and implement innovative therapy strategies A knack for making therapy sessions enjoyable and motivating for patients Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of patients A sprinkle of humor and a contagious positive attitude We offer a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth.
